Angela Xue
Angela Xue is a Master of Environmental Management candidate at Yale School of the Environment. Her work focuses on strengthening partnerships between private, public, and NGO sectors to implement conservation finance and corporate sustainability in the agriculture and forestry sector.
At CBEY, Angela hosts the Nature’s Returns webinar, a webinar series that invites leading practitioners to discuss their work in investing in ecosystem services for conservation, livelihoods, and economic returns.
Prior to attending Yale, Angela was an agricultural biologist at the Santa Clara County Consumer and Environmental Protection Agency, where she helped to develop and launch the first Food System Initiative Workplan, and supported pesticide regulation and plant quarantine activities. While there, Angela served as the contact person for the Division of Agriculture to collaborate with the Office of Sustainability, where she incorporated agriculture and food system objectives into the Sustainability Master Plan.
Angela holds a B.S. in Ecology, Behavior and Evolution from University of California, Los Angeles. In her free time, Angela enjoys getting on the road with her furry companion Cooper.
