Chijioke Onyekwelu
Chijioke is currently pursuing a PhD in Business Administration (Accounting) from the University of Washington Michael G. Foster School of Business. In 2018, he received his MBA from the Yale School of Management. He is interested in clean-energy-technology innovations and the financing markets and legislation that enable the growth of the budding industry. Prior to Yale, he worked stints as a management consultant with Execution Edge Ltd and PricewaterhouseCoopers helping distressed energy companies and their lenders evaluate their options and make value maximizing decisions. His career over the last eight years has included providing Assurance Services, Financial Reporting and Business Recovery services to clients in the Energy and Extractive industries. At Yale SOM, Chijioke participated in energy-finance case competitions and wrote for the Clean Energy Finance Forum. Chijioke is originally from Nigeria and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Owerri, Nigeria.
